The Truth of Happiness

The truth of happiness project was an interesting one. We first started out by reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. This really opened our minds to what happiness really is, that it is not just the devoidness of suffering but working towards a goal. Then we created our Annotated Bibliographies. We had to summarise, assess, and reflect on seven sources. Then we started on our SAC packets, this was showing evidence from two sides of an argument, is technology decreasing happiness. Once we finished with this packet we were assigned to sides to argue for or against the question. The final part of this project is making a video that showed what happiness meant to us. This was an extraordinary project and I hope every year of Sara's students do it.

Socialisation and Mask Project

The Socialisation and Mask Project is where we study the seven Identity categories, Class, Race, Age, Gender, Religion, Sexual orientation, and ability/disability. And form our masks and essays to fit which category we feel most impacted by. Then we exhibit it to the public.
